The building is designed as a two storey horizontally expanding mass. Guest reception halls (which can be combined when it’s necessary) and their service spaces are planned on the ground floor, designed to be open to the outside green areas. Private living areas which belong to head consul are placed at the first floor with a separate entrance. Diplomatic guest rooms and study rooms work as a buffer, a circulation zone between these two sections. Arrangement of different volumes together supports the richness of the mass’ perspective.
